The three stars of "Spy Like Me" talk about the season finale and what to expect next season.
DISCLAIMER: This interview is not real, but all information released about the show is factual.BEHIND THE SCENES: Okay, ladies. Where do you want to start? So much happened in the finale.
EVANGELINE: I know. It was a crazy script to get. Every page there was something shocking.
RACHEL: Some things we already knew about, like Ben dying, because they'd let Milo [Ventimiglia] know a few weeks beforehand. But everything else? I had no idea.
KRISTEN: I'm really excited about how it all went down and what it means for next year. The Four Horsemen sound like fun villains.
RACHEL: I still can't believe little Lucas [Grabeel, who portrays Chris] is one of them. Little guitar playing Lucas!
EVANGELINE: Like I said, lots of shocking things.
BTS: So maybe we should start with Ben. It seemed like coming into this episode he was prepared to be killed by Clive. But when that didn't happen he decided to do it himself. What was that like to shoot?
R: It was very strange. You try to think about it like it's a regular day at work, but it wasn't. It was very emotional. I'm going to miss Milo. He was great to work with.
BTS: This changes things for your character doesn't it?
R: Oh yeah. Jen loves to fix everybody, but she couldn't fix him. And seeing someone commit suicide right in front of you would mess anyone up. It will most definitely affect her life. How I'm not sure yet.
BTS: So, what was it like filming the bank robbery?
E: You know what, it was actually a lot easier than last season's finale.
K: Especially for me, because I wasn't in any of those scenes. I had a light week, that's for sure.
R: We still love you, KB.
E: (laughing) Anyway, last season we had all these fight scenes in the finale, but this year was all about the guns. There were lots of guns. The only fight scene I had was with Kyle [Gallner, who portrays Dylan].
BTS: That must of been weird, getting beat up by your on screen brother.
E: It wasn't really. It's kind of touching actually, because he knocks her out so he can save her for once, instead of her always saving him.
K: I never thought of that way.
E: I mean, when you're getting fake punched in the face for four hours in rehearsal, you start thinking about these things.
BTS: Since you brought it up, how do you feel about your character being sidelined during the finale Kristen?
K: It is what it is. She's obviously going through some things. With all they had on the line, the last thing they needed was for Liz to lose it like Nate did the week before.
BTS: Do you think Liz and Nate's struggles after the morgue fiasco will spill over into next season?
K: I don't know. I guess it all depends where the next season picks up. Whatever happens, I'm sure she'll be back out there kicking butt soon enough.
BTS: How do you all feel about how the Clive Johnson storyline worked out?
R: Everyone got what they deserved, which I liked. I love how he and his assistant killed each other.
E: And we got some new villains out of the deal, which is always nice.
BTS: Did you know Lucas Grabeel's character Chris was actually alive?
K: Not until he showed at the read through. They didn't tell anyone, not even us. Our scripts didn't have that last scene in it.
BTS: Really?
E: Yeah, it was way weird. Larissa Wilson who plays Nicola was there, and I was like, "Who's this chick?" And here comes Lucas with black hair and I didn't know what to think.
R: Everyone was surprised. I think Kyle about had a coronary.
K: All his friends end up being evil. Poor guy.
BTS: Do you know who the other two horsemen are?
E: No clue. We're all just in the dark as the audience is about them. We don't even know what their plans are.
BTS: Do you have any idea about what to expect in the fall?
R: Definitely lots of fall out from the finale. I'm sure Jen is going to be going through some things. The spies will be trying to find out as much as they can about the Horsemen.
E: Nate's definitely going to London for a little while. So that means more David Tennant [portrays head of IIA London Edward Fulrick], who we all love.
K: And I guess we can spoil that since the girls have graduated, they are now spies full time and can start figuring out their specialties.
BTS: Specialties? Like what?
K: There are different tracts you can pursue further training in based on your interests. Like Jen's is medicine because she wants to be a doctor. I have no idea what Liz's would be. I never even found out what her major in college was.
E: Angie's is English. Not sure what she's going to do with that.
BTS: Speaking of college, how was filming the graduation, especially since it looks like Adrian Grenier is leaving the show after this season.
E: It was a good time because it was the last thing we shot, and everyone was psyched to wrap for the season. But it was sad because Adrian is leaving the show. Or at least he won't be a regular anymore.
K: He'll definitely be popping up here and there from what I've heard, but it'll be weird not having him on set everyday.
R: He's got his own show. He'll be all right.
E: Rachel!
R: It was a joke.
BTS: On that note, I think it's time for the final question. Any funny behind the scenes stories?
R: We have to tell the story about the wrap party.
K: Yeah, tell it.
R: Well, we were all ready to relieve some stress, so people were definitely drinking a lot. And they brought in a karaoke machine.
E: That's all we can say. Just imagine two drunk people trying to sing "No Air." That's all you need.
BTS: You gotta give us names.
K: Maybe James [McAvoy] was involved. That's all I'm saying.
BTS: All right, I'll let it go. Thanks for talking to me.
E: No problem.
R: It was our pleasure.
